**Owl.Games** is expanding our engineering team to build high-performance **Original Games** for our crypto casino. We’re hiring a backend developer who can design, implement, and optimize game-server logic, ensuring our games are fast, reliable, and provably fair. Engagement We are open to **full-time** or **project-based** collaboration. Responsibilities Game Server Development • Build backend logic for casino original games (round engines, RNG workflows, volatility profiles, multipliers, math models). • Implement provably fair mechanisms (server/client seeds, hashing, HMAC workflows, result verification). • Develop scalable, low-latency game services for high-concurrency environments. • Create internal tools and simulations to validate game math and identify edge cases. Systems & Architecture • Design clean, maintainable APIs for front-end integration. • Apply strong engineering standards for security, testing, and documentation. • Contribute to reusable frameworks for faster development of future games. Collaboration • Work closely with designers, game mathematicians, and front-end engineers to bring game concepts to life. • Participate in code reviews and technical planning. • Support debugging, optimization, and post-launch improvements. Requirements Technical • Strong experience with at least one backend language: **Node.js**, **Go**, or **C#**. • **Strong understanding of provably fair systems**, including: • Server/client seed generation • Hashing/HMAC • Reveals and verification flows • Fairness auditability • Solid understanding of concurrency, distributed systems, and performance optimization. • Experience building real-time or high-frequency systems (gaming, betting, trading, etc.). • Knowledge of cryptographic hashing, RNG concepts, and game-state management. • Experience with microservices, caching layers, and message queues is a plus. Nice to Have • Experience in casino gaming or betting platforms. • Ability to write simulations to test and verify game math. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud deployments.
